About SimtoReal Platform
SimtoReal is a non-profit platform built by graduate students and researchers from leading universities worldwide — including MIT, Stanford, CMU, UC Berkeley, Oxford, ETH Zürich, Tsinghua University, Peking University, Nanyang Technological University (NTU), National University of Singapore (NUS), and the University of Tokyo — alongside practitioners from leading robotics and AI companies such as Boston Dynamics, ABB Robotics, DJI, NVIDIA, Tencent Robotics X, Agility Robotics, and UBTech. Our mission is to create a focused hub for Embodied Intelligence — robotics that learns to perceive and act in the physical world — making the field easier to navigate with high-signal knowledge and opportunities in one place.
Our articles cover the full technical stack: perception and sensor fusion, control and motion planning, simulation and digital twins, reinforcement learning, and the emerging wave of robot foundation models and vision-language-action policies. Each piece is practical and link-rich, pointing to seminal papers, open-source repositories, and real-world production stories from both academia and industry.
On the jobs side, we track hiring across startups, research labs, and enterprises spanning North America, Europe, and Asia. Listings are normalized into a common vocabulary of skills, tools, and responsibilities — covering everything from manipulation and locomotion to sim-to-real transfer and foundation model training — so you can compare roles quickly and, soon, match them intelligently with your background and research interests.
This is our MVP, and it will grow weekly: bilingual content in English and Chinese, a curated navigation of essential resources (datasets, simulators, benchmarks). If you're building in robotics, conducting embodied AI research, or hiring for related roles, we'd love to hear from you.
